Ireland’s Ultimate Developmental Tournament
Small Irelands is Sundrive’s annual developmental Ultimate Frisbee tournament – a welcoming, inclusive event designed to give beginner and intermediate players the chance to experience the joy and challenge of tournaments at their level.
It’s a space for newer players to get their first taste of competitive Ultimate, for developing teams to build chemistry, and for everyone to play hard, support each other, and have fun while doing it. After the success of last year, we’re excited to offer two divisions, Open and Women’s, again this year, providing more ways to take part and help create an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Unlike traditional tournaments focused solely on rankings or elite-level play, Small Irelands is about opportunity:
👟 Aimed at beginner-to-intermediate level players and teams.
🧠 A low-pressure space to learn, grow, and play competitive Ultimate at a level that suits you.
🥏 4-a-side to increase disc time for all players.
🌱 Encourages participation from clubs who want to develop their newer players.
🥳 Open and Women’s divisions to ensure that there’s space for everyone to get involved in a way that suits them.
🔁 Ideal for clubs with a second team, building toward future tournaments, or giving newer players their first taste of tournament play.
This is a tournament that celebrates growth, spirit, and getting more players in the game.

Everyone’s welcome – but this tournament is specifically designed for:
🆕 Newer players looking to see what the tournament experience is all about in a low pressure environment.
🧪 Clubs with a developmental focus looking to grow players and build experience.
